Onur Gilleard, one of ten trainee surgeons featured in ITV’s 2009 documentary series “Surgery School,” claims that the NHS is losing significant surgical talent. Fifteen years after the series aired, Gilleard states he is one of “maybe three” still practicing surgery.

“Ethnic rhinoplasty” is a misleading, all-encompassing term used to describe rhinoplasty in people of non-Caucasian descent. Whilst the noses of all races and genders can have various factors in common and that are different, I will discuss briefly the reasons why people of Afro-Caribbean decent often seek Rhinoplasty and how these issues are addressed.
